West Central Public Health Initiative Preparedness and Response

The West Central Public Health Initiative is a partnership among Gove, Logan, Ness, Sheridan, Sherman and Trego counties focused on protecting the safety of all citizens in the region in the event of a communicable disease outbreak or bioterrorism incident. The Initiative seeks to achieve a coordinated and professional emergency response among local elected leaders and public health, medical, law enforcement and other public safety personnel. By building cooperative partnerships across agency and county boundaries, and with informed citizens, our ultimate aim is to prevent or minimize harm to our communities when a threat to public health occurs.
