Inquire at the health department to loan medical equipment on a temporary basis.  Must clean equipment before and after using. Please call when returning equipment, since it is stored off-site.
 
 
 
Logan County Health and Safety Fair

The tentative date for 2012 is Saturday, March 31st at the Impact Center 7:30—11:00am featuring low cost fasting blood draws. Results will be mailed in approximately 2 weeks. Lots of exhibits and prizes for all ages. Coffee, juice and mini muffins available after giving blood. 


Flu Clinic

This fall, the health department will set up a mass flu clinic to help promote preparedness in case of an emergency on October 20, 2010 from 3:00-6:00pm at the USD #274 Library, 621 Center Avenue. We offer a cash discount for the flu vaccine. We also accept Medicare, Medicaid and BC/BS. Prizes and drawings for age 6-59 months.

WIC Women, Infant and Children Program

For pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, infants, or children up to five year old. Must meet income guidelines. Please call Sherman County Health Department for an appointment at 1-800-899-4892. Voucher pick-ups and appointments are scheduled in Oakley at the Westview apartment Complex, 700 W. 5th.


 
Logan Environmental Program Agency

Provides well water testing, monitors septic tanks and other sewage matters.
